Dr. James Gholson, Jr is an author, philanthropist, and retired professor of music at the University of Memphis. James is well known in his community thanks to decades of live clarinet performances with the Memphis Symphony.

The design goal was to put a fresh face and an updated structure onto unitus.org, an existing blog dedicated to helping build literacy and musical skills.
